In order to use the Site, a User must first complete the registration form. This Information is used to contact you about the products and services on our Site in which you have expressed interest. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously.

How we protect your information

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted directly from your browser to our payment gateway provider’s database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. Our payment gateway provider is Stripe.

Your credit card information will never be stored on our servers.

No website, mobile application, database or system is completely secure. You are also responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect your personal information against unauthorized disclosure or misuse.

Cookies

We use “cookies” on this Site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a User’s hard drive to help us improve Your access to the Site and identify repeat visitors to our site.

Data Storage

Our database and web server are located on servers provided by Fly.io in Canada. We use Cloudflare R2 for storing uploaded files and images. We use Resend for sending transactional emails. We use PostHog for providing analytics on the Site.

Encryption

All communication between your devices and the servers we use are encrypted via TLS.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to revoke or amend any consent you have provided allowing us to store and use your personal data.

You can always make a full export of all the data and files you store on Valise through your account settings page.
